"If We Run Out of Batteries, This War is Screwed."

Very interesting, man-on-the-ground look at how info tech was used in the war in Iraq.   Joshua Davis did a great job of vividly describing how the network was set up, maintained, and used for both tactical and strategic advantage.   Also, we have to keep in mind that the only Army division that has fully undergone the "network-centric warfare" transformation (the 4th ID), wasn't in the fight at all.   Definitely recommended reading.
