This is rich...

We have captured Saddam. We have destroyed the beast. The nightmare years are over. If only we could have got rid of this man 15 years ago -- 20 years ago -- how warm would be our welcome in Iraq today. But we didn't.
Who said this?   Donald Rumsfeld?  Richard Perle?  Colin Powell?  Some other neocon who has been agitating against Saddam for years?  No, its that stalwart fighter against oppression everwhere, British journalist Robert Fisk.

You remember Fisk, the journalist who was beaten by the mob of angry refugees, and then wrote about how it was all our fault?   Sheesh.

(Hat tip to Instapundit for surfacing this tripe.)
