Santa? Are You Out There?

What I really want for Christmas. (Though I don't think I've really been good enough to deserve it.)

Of course! What else would it have?

I think most Corvettes are automatics. For instance:

"... some 60 percent of Corvettes are ordered with an automatic."

Here it is 68%:

My cousin let me drive his Corvette with an automatic, and while I thought I would prefer a manual, the automatic had its own thrill. Pushed you into the back of the seat real fast. And it only had about 345hp, not 505hp like the new one.

I've actually never driven a Corvette. But I like the styling on this generation, and if you read the stats in the auto magazines, the Corvette is way off the curve in terms of measured performance (acceleration, braking, g-force in turns, etc.) per dollar of purchase price.

Of course it is a Chevy, and not something sexy like a Porsche or one of the Italians. But that appeals to my redneck wannabe side.

In any case, I doubt the fat guy in the red suit is going to come through anytime soon.
