Murder on the beach

It must be horrible to be speaking to a child by telephone on the other side of the world when you suddenly hear a scream and the phone line goes dead. The London Times has the details on this sad story, though I don't buy into their bigger-picture implication that travel in the Third World is inherently dangerous.
